Feast 진수성찬
Is there anything more beautiful than a table full of dishes? This woven piece depicts a celebratory spread of my favorite foods. My parents immigrated to the US in the 80's, and have since opened restaurants that catered to the American palate – Japanese steakhouses and breakfast diners. However, they were impressive home chefs who would cook lavish Korean meals for our family. I only recently learned the Korean word for a feast: "진수성찬" but have found it true to my childhood memories of feeling like the richest person in the world.
